We need you to take a Senior Backend Developer position in the development of one of our products with it’s 3rd party integrations, including improvement/maintenance of existing components and related services/integrations.

This is a fulltime, remote position emphasizing strong teamwork, positive collaboration, and goal achievement. We believe in (almost) hands-off approach, valuing output and results over micromanaging and counting minutes.

• Svelte.js, JS, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS - Frontend/CMS/platform
• Node.js, Postgres - Backend & core
• AWS as our cloud provider
• git, Linear, (a "better Jira") - for source control and management

Related/auxilary & future stack

• python, C/C++, Rust
• Linux
• WebAssembly (future)

Main Focus/Responsibilities:

• Write high quality code
• Monitor performance/efficiency of your code 
• Suggest ideas worth implementing to improve performance/efficiency
• Brainstorm & collaborate with team members to come up with efficient solutions
  

Requirements:

• Degree with a specialization in CS, Software Engineering or other relevant qualification
• 7+ years as a developer
• Experience with strongly typed languages optimized for performance such as  C/Rust/Scala/Go, and ideally also experience with functional programming, using
• REST, working with various DBs, Linux
• Be a result-oriented problem solver
• Ability to effectively organize your time and work at a high pace
• Independence & Team-work
• English - mostly in writing, (Task management stack is done in English), but also orally for team calls etc

Bonus

• Experience with fucntional progrmaming (Haskell, Scala, python, C, Rust)
• Understanding of the principles of building IT systems
• Experience working with leading blockhains / crypto wallets
• Experience working with AWS cloud, dockers etc
