Product Team Summary:

The Product team is responsible for developing product strategy, providing thought leadership and long-term design for the growth of Tangem Payments products and services across the global market. This includes Issuer, Processor, Chip and Cards Manufacturers Engagement, Product Deployment and Lifecycle Support for both Consumer and B2B White Label Solutions in the market.

The team is a critical function tasked with driving the use of Tangem solutions across existing as well as new clients in the market. In addition, the Product team also serves as key influencers of the broader Tangem strategy in the market that helps drive innovation and growth in the large ecosystem.

Key objectives:

  1. Lead the Payment Product and align team around the Product vision and market priorities and needs;
  2. Be responsible for the Product Roadmap in the market, for products developed globally and locally. Define roadmaps and provide direction based on industry standards, competition and regulatory changes and to help drive operational cost efficiencies and streamline processes;
  3. Support sales and technical integration process, work with business development, technical teams towards converting priority clients to Tangem product adoption;
  4. P&L owner for Product revenue – ability to think strategically around the ‘big picture’ and make priority calls (focussing on ‘needle movers’). Clearly articulate value and ROI of use cases and solutions through success metrics and benchmarking.

General responsibilities:

  1. Manage Payment Products and Services comprising of: Partners Relations, Legal, Risk, Product UX, Methodology, Money Movement and Crypto products;
  2. Engage in a collaborative team environment with support from an extensive cross-functional team that includes key business partners such as Business Development and Sales, Technology, Marketing, PR, Finance, Client Support, Operational and Legal;
  3. Stay current with industry and payments trends and maintain a strong knowledge of Tangem products and Services. Act as a subject matter expert for money movement and management functionality be fully conversant in the market practices and trends;
  4. Support day-to-day relationship management for strategic partners, expanding Tangem’s reach with the partner across functional groups;
  5. Take the lead in solving the problems that arise during the execution of strategic deals and programs with partners;
  6. Provide regular reporting, analysis on relationship status to senior management.

General requirements:

  1. From 5 years of product management experience (Product owner or relevant roles) in building customer facing and platform-based finance consumer products – specifically in Payments industry and/or Bank Card Products;
  2. Understanding/knowledge of existing EU finance/banking regulations is a strong advantage
  3. Platform product management mindset, building products that can be leveraged by a variety of customers in various regions;
  4. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing/business counterparts to deliver online and offline products/services;
  5. Strong Project Management skills - rally several cross-functional teams to successful launches and keep the leadership up to date. Strong technical lead experience managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  6. Excellent communication and people skills - can work well with teams/individuals at all levels, including Executives. Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills;
  7. A highly collaborative individual, bringing a structured problem-solving approach to client engagements and documentation, employing solutioning, moderation and facilitation skills;
  8. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or commensurate work experience is required;
  9. Knowledge of English is a must. Knowing Russian and Portuguese is beneficial but not essential.

Competitive remuneration to be discussed individually.

The role can be based or relocated to the EU (Portugal).
