DevOps Engineer (AWS)

We are QUADCODE, a company that develops a SaaS trading platform for clients around the world.

We are working with Agile, Scrum (2-week sprints), and SAFe framework. Furthermore, we are using Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, TargetProcess for teamwork.

Now we are looking for DEVOPS ENGINEER to join the team which working on options exchange setup for USA market. The team has 3 DevOps Engineers and a Team Leader.

You will be responsible for support project infrastructure, troubleshooting various of problems, infrastructure improvement, and implementing new features.

Project run in AWS cloud, but you can be surprised with so wide tech stack requirement for this position. It is due to current running model most of the services are “on-premise” models, but as a next stage, we will design and implement migration to AWS services.

TECH STACK:

• OS: Linux Ubuntu/Debian;
• Containerization: Kubernetes, Helm, Docker;
• Clouds: AWS (IAM, VPC, SG, EC2, ALB, EKS);
• Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, Graylog, Jaeger;
• DB: PostgreSQL, Redis;
• Infrastructure: powerdns, openldap, consul, vault;
• Automation: Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform;
• Orchestration: Ansible, Terraform;
• CI/CD: Git, Gitlab-CI.

TASKS IN THE ROLE:

• design, implement, and support cloud-based infrastructure;
• automation of environments on the principle of “infrastructure as code”;
• automation of development, testing, and code delivery processes (CI & CD processes);
• development and maintenance of up-to-date technical documentation in a single knowledge base.

NECESSARY EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

• 3+ years of Linux Systems administration of production systems;
• production experience with systems, tools, and technologies from Tech Stack list;
• self-driven, with ability to take ownership of issues and follow them through to complete resolution;
• English B1+ (reading docs, googling, and talking with vendors);
• Russian B2+.
