AWS Data Engineer

Our company is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to work in partnership with Almaz Solutions.

Almaz Solutions is a technology company specializing in cloud computing and data engineering. The company offers a range of services, including cloud migration, cloud security, and data management, among others. With its focus on cloud computing and data engineering.

Responsibilities

1 Design and implement data storage solutions using AWS services.

2 Develop and maintain data pipelines.

3 Implement data security measures.

4 Monitor and optimize data processing and storage systems.

5 Collaborate with data scientists and analysts.

Ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with cloud-native application development using both MongoDB and Postgres in AWS. 

Required skills:

At least 3 years hands-on experience with the following skills:

- Configuring MongoDB and Postgres for development, QA/Testing, and Production environments taking into account data security, reliability, scalability, and availability

- Programming in Python, PostrgesSQL

- Strong ETL skills

- Working closely with Application Development team using Agile SecDevOps and CI/CD

- Integrating, transforming, and consolidating data from various structured and unstructured data systems into structured that are suitable for building analytics solutions

· Must have very good verbal and written communication skills

Working Conditions:

– Full-time job (approximately 6+ month)

– Working schedule: EST business hours Monday to Friday 

– Monthly payments on Payoneer/PayPal/cryptocurrency wallet;

– Holidays and days off can be discussed;

– English-speaking environment.

NOTE. It is a fully remote position, based on contract employment.
