About the role:

We are currently looking for a talented Solutions Architect to be a part of our technology team and be a technical leader that will help us design, develop and deploy architectural solutions. It is an exciting time to be a Solution Architect in our team as we are defining the future business and product strategy including our systems and this truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

You would work as a team member alongside the Product, Engineering, IT, InfoSec Leads, and other supporting team members to deliver solutions that help Al-Raedah build financial services and solutions for SMEs across Saudi Arabia.

In this exciting role, you'll design, architect, implement and operate new applications and services in close contact with our stakeholders. You'll be responsible for bridging the gap between business and technology and ensuring value is delivered incrementally through agile development teams. You'll actively architect solutions, bringing in your software engineering expertise.

In addition to designing and driving the overall solutions architecture, you are not afraid to dive into details, get your hands dirty when you spot the problems, and lead the way for engineering teams. You'll iterate fast on ideas by building a proof of concepts. You'll constantly steer our software engineers to bring the products to production readiness.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Ownership of technical design and architecture of fintech solutions built on our lending platform with integration into other payment and supplementary systems.
• Assessment of technical requirements and identification of enablers, and system architecture to achieve clarity of constraints on feasibility, time, cost and customer impact
• Constantly evaluate technological advancements and innovative solutions to drive continuous product and platform improvements
• Effectively align business and technical resources to achieve platform objectives, including scoping and time-to-market roadmaps
• Be active in an expert capacity in promoting the best architectural and software development practices to the engineering teams.

Skills and Experiences:

• Minimum of 5+ years as a solution or system architect building digital products from strategy to launch; and a minimum of 7+ years of software engineering/development experience.
• Demonstration of technological roadmapping and team leadership in key software engineering positions
• Prior successful working experience in architecture roles of agile organizations is a must experience in the financial technology domain is a strong plus
• Fluent business English, presentation, and communication skills
• Experience in Agile framework(s) and DevOps

The location for this role is on-site in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) or Dubai (UAE), with relocation covered by the company.
