JavaScript full-stack developer

Who are we? 

Dektry is a full-service software development company. We have been developing IT products for clients from Europe and America for over 5 years and have delivered over 100 successful projects. Dektry equals efficiency. In our company we do everything to optimize processes as much as possible and remove routine work. 

Why are we hiring?

The project solves a huge variety of problems related to the pharmaceutical industry (from the prescription medicines to the optimization and improvement of the prescription procesess itself). 

The project has started recently and is currently at the stage of finalizing research hypothesis. An active development phase begins in a few weeks  and there is a need to strengthen the technical team. In total, there are 25 people in the team, along with designers, developers, programs manager, scrum master, etc. from different countries: USA, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine.

What will you do? 

• Dealing with a wide technology stack: JavaScript, NodeJS, React, Typescript, ExpressJs;
• Write tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript;
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Designers and domain experts;
• Take part in the SCRUM development process;
• Perform code review;
• Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation;
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance;
• Implement new features;
• Perform optimizations.

Our expectations:

• 3+ years of commercial experience;
• Expert in the React and Node.js ecosystems;
• Experience of MySQL databases;
• Experience of ExpressJs, Prisma, RabbitMQ, Typescript;
• High level of skills with browser APIs, DOM and HTML/CSS;
• Fluent English for communication with customer;
• Fluent in state management patterns and solutions;
• Ability to precisely communicate your ideas and feedback to the team and client;
• Be up to date with technological trend;
• Experience in working in a SCRUM team.

Nice to have:

• Experience of Mongo, Nest;
• Knowledge of patterns (Factory, Prototype, Singleton, Observer, Strategy, State, Middlewares);
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests;
• Product mindset.
