Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the network support process;
• Conduct research on network products, services, protocols and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry;
• Interact with vendors and contractors to secure network products;
• Implement best practice policies and procedures for all projects;
• Maintain accurate status records for ongoing projects;
• Deploy LANs, WANs and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other communication hardware;
• Test and monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed;
• Install new network equipment and software upgrades.

Requirements:

• Higher education in IT areas;
• 2-5 years’ experience in designing, deploying and maintaining network;
• Working experience with Cisco Devices/Technology;
• Industry networking certification: CCNA/CCNP (or equivalent) is required, CCIE is welcomed;
• Able to work outside working hours (flexible schedule) for support/maintenance if needed.
