We offer unique, all-in-one devices, a SaaS management platform, and mobile applications that simplify and enhance smart homes, mobile entertainment, and other consumer and commercial connected services.

We have two roles one will be based in our office in Tbilisi, Georgia & one in Novosibirsk, Russia. 

Both positions will report to our VP of Technology.

What Will I Be Doing?

•Work closely with product managers, technical leads and delivery managers to resource and structure engineering teams, knowing when and how to build new teams for new challenges.

•Lead, grow and mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams with knowledge, tools and processes to enable streamlined delivery of flexible, scalable and secure solutions.  

•Work within your team and across the organization to help shape product and platform architecture and technical direction.

•Develop and manage strategic partnerships to enable flexible resourcing and accelerated delivery.  

•Leverage strong communication skills and a collaborative working style to support an agile mode of operation - managing expectations and adapting quickly as priorities change.

•Support a culture of frequent delivery and continuous learning to drive improvements in operational excellence, quality, security & privacy initiatives across your team and the broader organization.

Technology Insights

We have different teams working on different challenges for a varied set of stakeholders.

At a foundational level, we develop IoT and Wi-Fi routers management applications including device firmware and a unified management system deployed at various private cloud infrastructures.

Our teams consist of developers programming mostly in: C, C++, Kotlin, Python, PL/pgSQL and Swift with a focus on continuous delivery.

Technologies they use include: VMware vSphere, Docker, MQTT, Postgres, Node.JS, Elixir, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Spark, Git, Jenkins, Angular, DPI (Deep packets inspection), Buildroot, Z-Wave, ZigBee, SIL and HIL tests.

Responsibilities

·       Contribute to our telecoms and Smart Home vision and strategy

·       Responsible for the successful execution and delivery of development programs across a wide area of technologies. 

·       Manage a multidisciplinary team of 25+ engineers in a geographically distributed environment

·       Attract, retain & develop teams of exceptionally-talented software developers

·       Manage stakeholders and provide regular updates and executive briefings

Requirements

·       BSc in Computer Science, Data Science. Telecommunications or a relevant scientific/engineering field, with high academic achievement

·       12+ years industry experience, including at least 6 of management experience in a similar environment

·       Proven track record leading successful teams and high-quality program delivery

·       Knowledge of software engineering practices, tools and processes

·       Good understanding of latest Smart Home, Wi-Fi, Telecoms and cloud technologies

·       A proven technical leader, ideally within software engineering, big data and/or machine learning disciplines
