Embedded Developer

      Project details:

Development of hardware and software appliances for connecting Industrial HVAC systems to the Cloud. Upgrade existing chillers to extend their functionality via cloud computing and ML (future phases).

       Daily tasks:

• Development of containers with the application for support HVAC operation (connectivity, alarm detection, offline mode)
• Linux production image optimizations
  
  Requirements:
  
• Strong Linux administration skills (partition configuration, network interfaces, etc). 
• Embedded Linux build system (Yocto) knowledge. 
• Experience with Docker container system (Balena preferred. Balena is based on docker, so the skill should be usable as is). 
• Be able to program in, C/C++, Java is plus (as long as it can be containerized on Balena)
• Yocto build

Would be a plus: Python, Bash
