World-wide operating trading platform BEQUANT is looking for professionals - QA Tester (manual and automated).
The role: helping develop institutional cryptocurrency trading platform.
What we are looking for:
A QA Engineer is required for a full-time, permanent role with a high growth, prime brokerage and crypto exchange. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a broad technical position in an exciting and growing industry. The QA Engineer will work closely with the Product Team and report into the Chief Technical Officer. This role offers flexibility of working from the office or remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Providing Functional and integration autotests
- Writing test scripts
- Developing autotests for API validation
- Manual testing of our platforms and tools
- Identifying and reporting any defects
- Observing and recording of test results
- Preparing and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test scripts)
- Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
- Ensuring high quality and accuracy is maintained all the way through the testing process to software release
Skills:
- 2+years experience in QA automation (JavaScript)
- a positive experience in developing autotests in JavaScript
- Experience with Cypress framework
- Experience of web applications and API testing
- Hands-on experience as a QA Engineer/Tester
- Solid basic knowledge of software testing fundamentals
- Experience in writing test plans and test cases, as well as bug reports
- Experience with Cypress framework
Desired skills:
- Experience of working with large amounts of data / financial data
- Knowledge of python
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency and financial concept
