Solution Architect 

Large international organization is currently seeking a talented Architect for R&D department located in St-Petersburg, Russia.

The successful candidate will contribute to the architecture design vision and standards across all IT offices of the company, and educate the team on defined vision and standards and solve the most complex architecture design problems by applying his proficiency in C#/.Net stack.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Define Architecture Design vision collaborating with other software engineering experts and managers
• Resolve open questions and concerns about Architecture Design from development teams
• Define, document and audit Architecture Design Standards and best practices in teams including:
  • Design layers, REST API interfaces, Micro-service decomposition, and more
• Prototype new technologies, frameworks and whatever is needed to provide the best architecture solution in multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, Google)
• Transfer Architecture Design vision, present defined standards, train and educate development teams
• Report to and collaborate with Chief Solution Architect in order to define architecture for new solutions and for existing platforms

You will need to demonstrate competencies and experience in the following areas:

• Experience with .Net framework (.Net Core is a plus) is required
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience designing enterprise solutions using micro service design approach and event-driven architecture
• Focus on scalability, performance and flexibility aspects
• Understanding of REST API design principles
• Speaking and writing English is essential
