Juno is a new way to ride tech startup currently in public beta in New York with R'n'D HQ in Minsk, Belarus.
Mobile team of Juno Lab team is expanding and we are looking for one Android engineer to join!
Our Android team is working on 2 applications that we are developing from scratch. The service will be used by millions of people worldwide, that's why we are using the most advanced technologies to stack and attract most experienced engineers to the team. Our startup team is product-oriented, that's why our service is being developed in agile engineering environment and focused on quality.
Our best candidate would have strong mobile engineering experience using various technologies with focus on Android platform.
Your must have experience will include:
- Deep knowledge of Java for Android
- Full application lifecycle including supporting published applications
Experience in some of the following would be a great plus, but you are welcome to learn onboard:
- Unit tests
- *nix OS (user level)
- Dependency injection frameworks
- UI architecture approaches e.g. MVC, MVVM, MVP
- Understanding of Material Design patterns
- Product design involvement
About mobile team responsibility:
- Launching and supporting mobile part of Juno service
- Architecture design decision making
- Influence product management and features priority
- Involvement in product design and close cooperation with UX/UI team
Terms and team:
Juno mobile team have started up in May. The Backend team has started up in September 2015. We are 55 engineers in Minsk overall at the moment. We have successfully started public beta of Juno service in New York in May. Team of iOS and Android engineers is working on 4 applications as part of Juno project. We are looking for more engineers to join us!
