Bookmate is looking for a person eager to change the reading app landscape in the iOS ecosystem alongside our designers, backend engineers and QA.

About you

You might be an experienced iOS app developer or a novice devoted to learning.
We expect commitment and responsibility, the rest could be learned quite fast.

Technically,
You’ve previously developed iOS applications and are comfortable with the following:

  • Objective-C
  • iOS SDK 4+
  • Foundation
  • UIKit obviously
  • Core Graphics
  • Core Animation
  • Core Data (we love it)
  • Instruments
  • UIWebView (basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Multithreading/Blocks/GCD/NSOperationQueue
  • Target-action, delegates, and NSNotificationCenter

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be collaborating with our team of designers, developers and engineers to build and support Bookmate application for iOS.

Developers in Bookmate have a high degree of autonomy, meaning you’ll be able to make important development decisions by yourself.
