Started as a frontend engineer at a small local company in Stavropol, I fell in love with web development. That time I was studying at NCFU on Information Security faculty but didn't feel that it was my favorite field of proficiency. So I dropped it and continued my way of self-education and self-establishment in web development with Ruby on Rails stack. The project I worked for was a server for dozens of client machines that send requests constantly as they're online. We also had a web UI for managing those machines and a complex system of different related objects, settings, files. The project was challenging, but rewarding — it was fun to learn and work on, but also, in the end, I got a whole bunch of knowledge about mastering high-loaded apps.
After that, I came to Videoly as a software engineer. I managed to improve software engineering skills much further here. And I'm happy to be a part of such a great team!
