Mission
Build a high-performance, product-driven culture and scalable people systems across Product, Tech, Design, and Marketing, aligned with business goals and fast growth.
Core Responsibilities
1. Culture & Values
- Define and articulate company values, leadership principles, and behavioral standards
- Translate values into daily practices (rituals, feedback norms, decision-making)
- Own onboarding and internal communication to reinforce culture
- Act as a culture carrier across distributed teams
2. Performance Management
- Design and run a performance review system (quarterly / bi-annual)
- Align company → team → individual goals (OKRs / KPIs)
- Implement continuous feedback, 1-on-1 frameworks, and development plans
- Train managers on goal-setting, feedback, and performance conversations
3. Org & Team Effectiveness
- Partner with Heads of Product, Tech, Design, and Marketing
- Help define:
- Clear roles & responsibilities
- Career ladders (IC → Lead → Manager)
- Expectations per level
- Support org design as the company scales (teams, ownership, reporting lines)
4. Leadership & Manager Enablement
- Coach managers on:
- People management
- Conflict resolution
- Motivation & retention
- Identify leadership gaps and propose development plans
- Act as a sparring partner for founders / CPO / CTO on people decisions
5. HR Operations & People Processes
- Hiring process design & interview frameworks (with hiring managers)
- Compensation philosophy & performance-based reviews
- Employee engagement, retention, and burnout prevention
- Handle sensitive people issues with maturity and confidentiality

Ideal Profile
Must-have
- 5+ years in HR / People / People Ops in product or tech companies
- Experience working closely with Product & Engineering teams
- Proven track record building performance systems from scratch
- Strong business mindset (not “HR admin only”)
Nice-to-have
- Startup or scale-up experience
- International / distributed teams
- Experience with OKRs, agile teams, and product orgs

- High trust & emotional intelligence
- Structured, but pragmatic
- Can challenge leaders respectfully
