Position Overview 

We're seeking an exceptional Data Analyst (or Python Analyst) to join our remote team. You'll collaborate with our globally distributed team to analyze logistics data, build insightful dashboards, and drive data-informed decisions for our e-commerce platform. Your expertise will help optimize global operations using tools like PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Python Jupyter notebooks, and Plotly/Dash.

Technical Skills Required

• Python programming with experience in data analysis and Jupyter notebooks
• Dashboard development using Plotly/Dash or similar visualization tools
• Database querying and management (PostgreSQL, SQL, ClickHouse)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Heroku, AWS) for data processing
• Version control systems (Git)
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Data analytics and KPI metric development

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Equivalent practical experience considered for exceptional candidates
• Relevant certifications in data analytics, database management, or BI tools are advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze e-commerce logistics data using Python, Jupyter notebooks, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse to identify trends and inefficiencies
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards with Plotly/Dash to visualize KPIs and metrics
• Develop and monitor key metrics for logistics operations, such as on-time delivery and inventory turnover
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations
• Ensure data accuracy and create reports for presentation to stakeholders
• Optimize data queries and storage for efficient retrieval and analytics
• Communicate findings effectively through visualizations and presentations

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of proven experience in data analysis, with expertise in Python development and dashboard building
• Demonstrated experience in finance or logistics dashboards, KPI metrics, and BI tools
• Strong skills in PostgreSQL and ClickHouse or similar analytics databases
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills for thriving in a remote, global team
• Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail, balancing analytical depth with timely delivery

Advantageous Qualifications

• Experience with e-commerce logistics, 3PL, or international supply chains
• Knowledge of advanced analytics practices and machine learning basics
• Familiarity with frontend visualization technologies for enhanced dashboards
• Background in performance optimization for large-scale data systems
