Who are we looking for?
AI-driven, inspired developer who thinks in systems, not features. You'll build the infrastructure that processes millions of insurance claims, medical records, and legal documents with AI that actually understands context. 80% backend mastery where you architect serverless workflows that scale, 20% frontend finesse to ship complete experiences. AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Devin) aren't optional - they're how you'll ship 10x faster than traditional development.
Tech stack that scales
Backend (where the magic happens):

• Node.js/TypeScript + AWS Lambda/Step Functions for serverless that actually works
  
• SQS & EventBridge for bulletproof event-driven architecture
  
• RAG systems that understand documents, not just keywords
  
• PostgreSQL for structure, DynamoDB for scale - use the right tool
  
• Prisma ORM because raw SQL shouldn't be your day job
  

Frontend (if any):

• React/TypeScript with Feature-Slice Design for maintainable scale
  
• React Query for data that just works
  
• Tailwind + Shadcn UI for interfaces that don't make users cry
  

AI acceleration is a MUST:

• Gemini and Claude Code CLI tools
  
• Cursor and Windsurf IDE

Infrastructure & AI acceleration:

• Terraform for infrastructure that deploys itself
  
• GitHub Actions, Docker, CloudWatch for the critical-but-boring stuff
  

Ideal candidate

• 5-7 years building backend systems that don't break under enterprise load
  
• Deep AWS serverless expertise (Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, EventBridge)
  
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Devin)
  
• Database mastery: PostgreSQL for relationships, DynamoDB for performance
  
• Enough React/TypeScript to ship complete features without handoffs
  
• Thrive in async, remote environments with minimal supervision
  
• Genuinely excited about AI transforming work - not just riding the hype

• Experience with document processing pipelines (PDF, DOCX, OCR)
  
• RAG system implementation and optimization
  
• Terraform infrastructure management
  
• Healthcare/legal document processing domain knowledge
