Backend Tech Lead (PHP)

About the position: Our projects include b2c and b2b stores, showcase sites of our own brands, as well as CMS and CRM systems developed by our team for content management, catalogue, sales and marketing.
Our team is competent, experienced Senior and Middle level employees.
We are currently looking for a Technical Leader who is ready to develop architectural solutions and technical expertise in the team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establishing project specifications and technical direction
• Creating a framework of technical standards and procedures
• Overseeing software quality and system modifications
• Guiding team members with troubleshooting technical issues
• Mentoring and onboarding
• Analyzing existing operations to identify risks and redundancies
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop solutions

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in PHP development;
• 2+ years of experience in the Lead position;
• Working with Laravel 8+;
• Deep knowledge in Vue.js/JS development;
• Experience as a technical lead for at least 2 years;
• Knowledge of PHP 8.0 and higher;
• Experience with ElasticSearch;
• Experience with PostgreSQL;
• Experience with Redis;
• MySQL 8.0 (SQL, DB Engines, Indexes, Query optimization);
• Confident command of JavaScript;
• Understanding and experience in working with CI/CD.
• Confident knowledge of KISS and Yagni and their differences;
• knowledge and ability to configure NGINX;
• Experience in setting up logging and monitoring of complex systems;
• Knowledge of English at least B2 level.

Will be plus:
• Experience working with large and complex projects;
• Confident knowledge of SQL, complex queries, knowledge of SQL query optimization;
• experience with other programming languages (Java, C#) and NodeJs;
• Experience writing unit tests.
• Project features: main server in PHP, work with databases, Rabbit MQ message broker, ElasticSearch engine.
