We are seeking a highly skilled Head of QA for our games. The perfect candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, as well as leading the team of QA engineers.

What you do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for our studio.
• Oversee all aspects of the QA process, including test planning, creating User Stories (BDD), test cases, test cycles, and monitoring their execution. Estimate testing timeframes.
• Manage the team of QA engineers, ensuring that all QA tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Collaborate with other teams within the company.
• Ensure that all QA processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct testing of two product directions: "Game Production" and "Internal Services" at all stages, from design and implementation to post-production.
• Participate in certifications and licensing of produced games and platforms.
• Handle incoming bug reports through B2B Customer Support channels.
• Participate in Platform-to-Platform integration processes.
• Verify and correct manual, automated, static, and other test processes.
• Analyze and assess test results.
• Contribute to the development of quality assurance implementation tasks and participate in end-to-end testing with various platform components.

What you know

• 5+ years of experience in the field, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• English language proficiency at least at upper-intermediate level.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven experience in building QA department processes from scratch.
• Knowledge of testing theories and methodologies.
• Familiarity with web and server application testing, HTML5 games.
• Clear understanding of the testing process, its objectives, tasks, and place in the development cycle.
• Ability to develop test cases based on requirements, with strong test design skills.
• Experience in testing REST APIs.
• Proficiency with tools like Postman / SoapUI / JMeter.
• Skills in working with sniffers.
• Experience with Kibana.
• Familiarity with developer tools.
• Experience in automated testing and proficiency in one of the programming languages: ECMAScript / Typescript / Python.
• Experience with Zephyr in Jira.
• Experience with git.

We have an office located in the heart of Yaroslavl, where colleagues, a library, board games, and a great atmosphere await you.

There's also an office in Malta, primarily housing management and C-level positions.

Our team has many more locations where team members are based: other cities in Russia, Poland, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkey. You can work from wherever you want, as long as you stay connected and don't have a time difference of more than +/- 3 hours from CET.
