Middle Manual QA with future Transition to SDET (MIST Team)

Access Softek is looking for an experienced Middle QA Engineer who is starting his career path to test automation, loves their job and is willing to make the world better.

In this position, you will work in a friendly multinational team of QA Engineers under a team manager in coordination with other departments at our company who will help you to get into the depth of Mobile Banking Application and Web Application, practice English speaking skills, and support your career path to the AQA/SDET (in a long-term).
The Project includes many different interesting features related to actual banking transfers and reports and gives an opportunity to deepen your knowledge in the technical aspects of web and mobile application architecture and testing approaches. The main focus of the team is on the testing conducted on different platforms (web, Android, iOS), using mobile devices that the company provides.

Employee can modify their working day in order to visit all the meetings, but the majority of team members are working mainly in the period of 9 AM - 8 PM (GMT+2) with possibility for breaks during the day. Late calls are possible depend on team's schedule.

We're hiring three Middle QAs (#1 - Hybrid MQA/AQA C# + Selenium; #2 - Hybrid MQA/AQA JavaScript; and #3 - Hybrid MQA/AQA Java/Kotlin + Appium) with strong experience in manual testing for 2+ years, basic knowledge of modern programming language and experience in test automation for 0.3+ year.

Main technology stack:

• #1 - C#, .Net, Selenium (web UI + API tests automation)
• #2 - Javascript, Playwright (Web Visual Testing)
• #3 - Java/Kotlin + Appium (mobile test automation)

Ожидания от кандидата

• 2+ years of QA experience, including 0.3+ year of test automation experience (preferably using C# and Selenium WebDriver OR JavaScript OR mobile test automation (Java/Kotlin + Appium))
• Experience in web and mobile applications testing
• Experience in API testing (Postman, SoapUI)
• English level (speaking, writing, reading) - strong intermediate level

Hard/Tech skills:

• Strong knowledge of QA Methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle
• Good knowledge of QA processes & terminology
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and SCRUM processes/roles
• Understanding of client-server application architecture
• Understanding of web technology stack (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JS)
• Some modern object oriented programming language knowledge on a beginner level (preferably Javascript or C# OR Java/Kotlin)
• Understanding of SOLID, OOP principles
• Willingness to continue personal career as hybrid MQA/AQA Engineer or QA Automation Engineer in the future
  
  Soft skills:
• Highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
• Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a Team

Work as MQA mostly for the first half a year:

• Work in shared services SAFe Team: active participation in ceremonies during the whole iteration cycle
• Review & analyze business requirements to ensure that the requirements are complete, clear and consistent
• Test documentation creation; review test documentation, created by colleagues, making suggestions of improvements (if necessary)
• High-level estimation of assigned tasks
• Choosing the scope for manual Regression, Implementation and Upgrades testing based on priorities and risks
• Take active participation in system-level testing activities: risks-based Exploratory testing, end-to-end System testing, Regression and Implementation testing on Web and mobile platforms
• With the focus on implementation/upgrades testing in customer's environments
• Reporting and analysing test results
• Defects reporting and work with bug tracking tool (Jira), defects supporting during life cycle
• Collaboration with team members (QA, PO, SM), inter-teams collaboration
• Choosing the scope for test automation

In a long-term:

• Support existing mobile automated tests and helping AQA Community with new tests automation
