Single family office is looking for Senior System Administrator to Dubai

JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE

Head of Infrastructure / Senior System Administrator

REPORTING TO

Head of IT

AUTHORITY

Development and proposition of technical solutions of IT infrastructures for Company and it's clients

Technical solutions for infrastructure consistency and continuity

Implementation of urgent security updates for the supervised and supported systems

Cybersecurity risk assessment, prevention of suspicious traffic and issues

Report to Head of IT on issues and propose IT risk assessment plans for systems and users

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Infrastructure design, development and maintenance

Server and network infrastructure of the Company

Office IT infrastructure of the Company

Support of IT systems of Clients

Users (2nd support line, troubleshooting)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration of VMWare virtualization with vSphere,  vCenter , ESXi

Administration of Windows Servers (AD, DNS, DHCP, SQL, Exchange, FileServer/DFS)

Administration of Server hosts (iLO, DRAC, etc.)

Administration of Storage systems (Pure Storage, HPE MSA, Huawei, Dell EMC, or similar)

Administration of SAN FC-switches (HPE, Dell, Nexus, Brocade or similar)

Administration of Check point firewalls, Kerio firewalls

Administration of Networks switches (Cisco, Huawei, HPE, Fortinet)

Administration of Linux servers

Administration of RADIUS, LDAP, Syslog servers

Administration of Zabbix monitoring systems, PRTG monitoring system

Administration of IP telephony based on Asterisk (PBX, Phones, sip-trunk)

Administration of Client's specific Application Servers

Administration of IP-DECT systems

Administration of Veeam Backup & Replication systems

Administration of Antivirus systems

Administration of MDM systems

Administration of Active Directory and access rights

Administration of applications servers (Owncloud, Nextcloud, Seafile, Sharepoint, Office Online, etc.) 

Administration of Database servers (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)

Administration of communication servers (RocketChat, Jitsi, Jabber, Element, etc.) 

Administration of Helpdesk systems — user guides, support, notifications.

Administration of ERP systems (1C, Odoo, etc.)

Maintenance and troubleshooting of Server hardware  (remote, on-site)

Maintenance and troublshooting of Network hardware  (remote, on-site)

Monitoring, control and regular test of Backup procedures, notification

On site works and services — Data Center in UAE

On site works and services — Office in UAE

Regular reporting of systems monitoring status, issues and improvements

Automation and performance optimization on every level of IT infrastructure

SKILLS

Softwares

Knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2008-2012 R2 (must), 2019 (preferrable)

Knowledge and experience with Linux Server (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Fedora, etc.)

Knowledge and experience with Vmware Virtualization Environment v6-7

Knowledge of Powershell commands and scripts

Knowledge of SQL database systems (MS SQL, PostreSQL, MySQL)

Knowledge of Active Directory, group policy, access management

Knowledge of Cisco IOS configuration, HPE switch CLI, Huawei CLI

Knowledge of SIP Asterisk solution

Knowledge and experience in Antivirus, Antispam, Antiphishing solutions and methods

Knowledge of Cybersecurity methods and principles

Knowledge of User systems and software (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)

Hardware

Server barebone hardware installation, maintenance, upgrades, monitoring

Storage systems HPE, NetApp, Dell, or similar

SAN technologies (FC, Switching, Addressing)

Basics

Knowledge of the principles of TCP/IP stack, GPO, DNS, DHCP, FS.

Knowledge and experience in cable management, installation of RJ45 connectors

Knowledge and experience in 19'' racks, Rack cooling methods

Experience in Help and troubleshooting for users

Certificates

Certificates related to MS products(Windows Server, SQL server, Exchange, Teams)

CCNA, CCNP(as an advantage); HCNA, HCNP(as an advantage); Certificates in Linux systems (as an advantage).

Language

English (B2, C1), Russian

Experience

At least 3 years of active experience in IT-infrustructure administration

High skills and experience in systems administration, covering networking, servers, applications and users.

Driver License

Local travels in UAE

Internation travels (on company requests)

Availability for urgent issues and emergency works

Relocation to Dubai
