Technical Product Manager for Network Management System (NMS)

YADRO research and development centers are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Ekaterinburg and Minsk. Technical Product Manager for Network Management System (NMS) in Telecom area is responsible for managing NMS features over the product life cycle. This includes interpretation of market and customer needs for the respective area and product. Also it will include close collaboration with the R&D teams to translate the work items into R&D deliverables, understand limitations for implementation and team capabilities.

The role is to ensure product competitiveness and customer attractiveness. The Technical Product Manager is to work with internal stakeholders (Business Product Management, R&D teams, Architects, Release Managers) and should proactively manage customer needs and expectations.

What will you do:

• Analyzes customer requirements, market trends, technologies, standards and competitors
• Translates the selected requirements during feature screening into R&D requirements, deliverables and releases. Ensure that the requirements are well understood and are implementable and testable by R&D teams.
• Feature life cycle management of NMS related features.
• Close cooperation and alignment with relevant internal stakeholder’s e.g. System architects, R&D teams, Test teams, Business Product Management, Release Managers
• Responsibility for understanding and definition of customer use cases.
• Drives products/features through all required product management milestones.
• Takes care that feature screening is executed according to planned schedule.
• Provides support to RFIs, RFPs and customer workshops (based on need).

What do we expect from a future team member:

• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience as Product Manager, System Architect, Network Engineer, SW Engineer
• Know how in the area of Network Management System (NMS) and / or OSS (Operation Support System) / BSS (Business Support System), especially in mobile network domain
• Good interpersonal and networking capabilities & skills
• Good knowledge on K8S, RDBMS, TSDB, Message broker, microservice, access managment systems.
• Working autonomously in own subject area
• Decision making and prioritizing own work
• Good communication skills (inside organization as well as in front of partners & customers)
• Excellent written and oral communication in English
