C++ developer (RCV Media)

We develop for an American UCaaS platform RingCentral that is used by over 1 million businesses. It helps them all around the world to stay in touch with their customers and employees. We make everything work smoothly.

Our team is involved in the development of Selective Forwarding Unit: core video conference system media backend service. Service is responsible for forwarding video and audio streams between video conference participants, video and audio quality and congestion control.

We are looking for an experienced C++ developer with possible backgroud in audio/video processing and networking backend services.

You are going to:

• Design and develop media backend services for video conferencing application;

• Perform code review;

• Take active part in product requirements analysis and technical backlog planning;

• Be a part of professional team;

• Write and run unit and performance tests.

Our expectations:

• Strong knowledge of С++11;

• Understanding of С++ (14, 17, 20);

• Development experience or willingness to learn how to code for Node.js;

• Experience of developing for Linux;

• Understanding of networking and common protocols design (IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP).

Will be an advantage:

• Experience in work with Audio/Video over IP network;

• Experience in work with audio/video codecs;

• Experience in designing network applications and components.
