The DTV group is involved in several different R&D and client projects related to Set-top Box (STB) and TV software development, we mainly focus on cutting-edge technologies: UHD video enhancement, adaptive streaming and advanced content protection, advanced operator UI/ UX applications and various add-on applications such as YouTube and NetFlix. The latest technologies are being successfully developed on both Linux and Android platforms for millions of users around the world. 

What is to be done:

• Android software development for the upcoming Google Reference TV program or "state of the art" software for the Japanese market
• Conducting Design sessions and Code-Reviews
• Quality prioritization and improvement search for all aspects of software projects
• Work as part of an agile development team consisting of application designers and Android system engineers
• Has a high awareness of competitors' products and directions to help guide projects and beat the competition

Requirements:

• Graduate Diploma in Computer Technology or Informatics
• Good knowledge and experience in Java
• Knowledge of OOP and design models
• Teamwork skills
• Proactivity in solving everyday tasks
• The desire to solve complex technical problems and see how your work is appreciated by users around the world
• Knowledge of English at a high level
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders both inside and outside the organization

Skills and abilities we need : _ _

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Android app development
• Knowledge of version control systems: Git and Gerrit
• Experience with Jira/Confluence
• Experience in Kotlin development
• Experience with Agile software development methods (preferably Scrum)
