Practicum by Yandex is an online educational platform. We help people who want to change their lives to jumpstart new careers in tech. Our team includes dozens of specialists from various fields, all working together to produce quality educational content. Practicum courses incorporate professional knowledge that you won't find in any textbook, and finally bridges the gap between short-term MOOCs and full-time bootcamps.

We offer intensive online courses in data analytics, data science and web development. We believe that with dedication, perseverance, and support, anyone can master the skills required to enter these fields, and we're here to make it happen.

We are looking to hire a customer support agent to help students from our international cohorts (mainly from the USA) throughout the learning process, answering their questions, relieving their doubts, and solving technical issues. You will start working at 10 AM Moscow time.

As a customer support agent you will:

- Help students by answering their questions in chat rooms and social networks;

- Accompany the learning process, communicate with the student guidance team;

- Work with a large amount of information and structure it accordingly.

What are the job requirements?

- Advanced level of English;

- To be customer oriented, enjoy helping people and be able to multitask;

- Be able to work full-time day shifts.

You are an exceptional candidate for this role if you also have:

- A general understanding of the IT industry and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python;

- Work experience in a help desk, call center, and / or professions related to customer service.
