Software Engineer (C++)

Your role at Exness:

Market Connectivity Team is looking for an experienced and responsible Software Engineer interested in developing reliable, low-latency, and distributed systems. In this role, you will work with quantitative researchers and other engineers (e.g., DevOps, network, data, and software engineers) to improve the capabilities of our pricing and market data system. You will research, innovate and develop new ideas for enhancing the system's efficiency, observability, and maintainability. 

You will:

• You'll be a part of the team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our data processing pipelines and data services;
• Develop market connectivity gateways (e.g., FIX, ICTH, WebSocket);
• Develop and set up monitoring tools and analyze data delivery and processing metrics;
• Develop tools for Operational and QR teams;
• Drive optimization, test, and tool the system to improve data quality. Identify bottlenecks and improve the performance and reliability of all our services and the system.

The ideal candidate:

• Strong programming skills and knowledge of C++;
• Experience working with multi-threading and multiprocessing systems;
• Experience with network protocols such as TCP, UDP, and Multicast;
• Experience with profiling and optimization;
• Comprehensive knowledge of data structures and algorithms and strong problem-solving skills;
• Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of financial markets or experience of working in the field;
• Linux administration skills;
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, REST, AWS, SQL, Grafana;
• Familiar with TICK (Telegraf, InfluxDB, Chronograf, Kapacitor) stack;
• You share and cultivate DevOps culture - CI/CD, GitLab, Terraform.
