Senior ML engineer in Audio Processing

polyn.ai is a fabless semiconductor startup company with offices in Israel and UK. Out technology provides conversion of trained Neural Networks into Tiny AI silicon chips with ultra-low power consumption, low latency and small size. What is very special about our tech is that our chips do analog computations, not digital. This allows us to greatly reduce chip size and power consumption, and, for some types of sensors, also get rid of ADC signal transformations.

Position

We are opening a development branch of Audio/Speech processing and we are looking for a candidate with good experience in this field, who will be ready to take a Team Lead role eventually. Your responsibilities would involve taking part in product discussions, studying relevant scientific papers, developing ML models for Audio/Speech processing tasks, doing architectural search, expertising contractors’ work results in related fields.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial software development

• You have completed ML projects in Audio, Speech processing such as Voice Activity Detection, Keyword Spotting, Voice Enhancement, Speech Synthesis and other

• Extensive experience with ML frameworks

• Good knowledge of Python

• Decent knowledge of Linux, bash

• Fluent English, oral and written

Terms

• We work remote with flexible working hours

• Several times a year we meet for 3-4 days for personal discussions, usually in some nice place )

• Most of the team speaks Russian, but written communication is normally in English

• We pay gross salary, taxation depends on your tax residence
