Principal Engineer, SoC SW/HW co-design

YMP is forming the team of professionals who will be able to bridge SW and HW at early design stages by analyzing various domain specific system SW and finding proper possibilities for HW Arch/uArch optimization and proper SoC components configuration to match the need of target application domains. This team will be working jointly with SW developers in various domains and HW design team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Do deep dive into various SW stack/applications
• Do HW based workload decomposition/characterization/performance analysis
• Provide data driven feedback/design ideas to SoC architects
• Develop methodology to scale such analysis across the company and key ISV/OSV partners

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM A FUTURE TEAM MEMBER:

• Experts in domain specific SW and workload characterization based on x86 HW uArch
• Willing to learn and contribute into performance monitoring and modeling ecosystem of RISC-V based SoC HW
• Enjoy working on system level and have deep understanding of HW uArch
• Looking to make industry impact by bringing SW optimized HW designs
