Senior Database Engineer

Our client is one of the world's largest media platform where advertising Buyers, Sellers and Broadcasters can communicate and make a deals efficiently. The company's business is focused on all areas of advertisement placement, ordering and distribution.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in technology designing and delivering quality software

Database mindset

Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL

Ability to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality, privacy or security

Knowledge of database design principles, complex joins, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels

Expert Level SQL including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views

Experience with Jasper Reports a big plus

Familiarity with concurrent and full vacuum operations in Postgres

Familiarity with deployment management and monitoring

Strong knowledge of English

Nice to have

Working experience with MPP or Datawarehouse / lakehouse concepts
