Theyr Ltd is an international environmentally friendly software and meteorological data provider for the maritime industry. We aim to be the leading provider of high-quality shipping software that will enable shipping companies and their customers to minimize shipping costs while reducing emissions of combustion products into the atmosphere. Currently, our flagship product is T-VOS, the first modular AI-powered shipping optimization solution.

Who are we looking for:

Due to our growing client base and the prospect of rapid growth, we are looking for a technical writer with experience in technical support to join our team. We hope to find a generalist who will become an indispensable part of our team.

Main responsibilities

• Gathering information and researching the product, writing and maintaining new and existing content for T-VOS (API documentation, web application manual, release notes, FAQ) in close cooperation with developers.
• Maintenance of technical documentation from the creation of a draft version to publication.
• Creation of technical documentation in an understandable and readable format on multiple media platforms.
• Providing technical support: communicating with customers, identifying the causes of problems that have arisen, accompanying the client until the problem or issue is successfully resolved.
• Improving the quality of technical documentation based on customer feedback.

Requirements:

• Good level of written and spoken English (B2 - C1).
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast paced work environment.
• Ability to interact with both clients and the team to continuously improve existing and new documentation and the quality of technical support.
• Preferred experience with the following: Confluence/JIRA, Git, Swagger, ReadMe, MS Office.
• Good understanding of API documentation standards for REST APIs.
