Golang Developer

We are looking for a Senior Golang developer for our client's unique open source project - GARDENER, that allows you to deploy hybrid managed k8s clusters using the resources of various cloud providers and virtualization platforms. You will work with SAP to develop a set of extensions to support Gardener bare metal. Join the team and work on open source.

Your tasks:

•  Adding support for bare-metal installations to Gardener;
• Development of extensions for Kubernetes (CRD, operators);
• Automation of KVM/qemu management on host systems;
• Automation of the processes of inventory, configuration and monitoring of hardware components of the platform.

We are expecting from you:

• Programming skills in Go or other compiled languages (C/C++, Rust);
• Understanding the principles of virtualization systems;
• Ability to use Linux programming interfaces;
• Experience with Kubernetes. Ideally - the ability to create extensions (CRD, operators);
• Written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to communicate effectively.
