We are seeking a business analyst with an intimate understanding of the data management industry.

You’ll be responsible for improving Knoema products, services, and processes through data analysis. You will bridge the gap between IT and the business by conducting market research, assessing processes, analysing product usage, and delivering data-driven recommendations to stakeholders. The role assumes having a strong understanding of the market as well as plenty of experience in market research, competitive analysis, forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis combined with understanding of key performance indicators in the IT industry.

What you will do:

• Conducting market research to identify major competitors, trends, and opportunities
• Defining and sizing target markets
• Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Planning and monitoring
• Pricing: at what price should the products be offered
• Reporting.

Required skills and experience:

• At least 5 year’s experience in business analysis in data & technology
• Bachelor’s degree in business studies, business administration, management, or information technology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Russian
• Understanding of data management market
• Analytical thinking and ability to gain insights, derive conclusions, interpret results, and articulate business recommendations
• Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
