Below you can find a brief description of what we do.

Agri-food-tech start-up that is developing and delivering a prediction service, powered by sensor data and Artificial Intelligence, to soft fruit (strawberries) growers. We aim to better inform soft fruit growers about how much they are most likely to produce 1-4 weeks ahead. Since soft fruit is usually sold in advance, an accurate and timely prediction has a huge benefit on getting a better price for the actual entire volume produced. To grow our product to reach even more clients we are looking to extend our team.

We are looking for an experienced C# developer to strengthen our engineering team

What will you do?

You will be part of a 6-8 multi-disciplinary team, consisting of a lead back-end developer, front-end developers, hardware engineers and data scientists. An important responsibility for you within the team will be developing new features and improving the current API and the azure functions we have. Our Technology stack comprises Microsoft .Net Core 5, Entity Framework code first, Azure functions, Python, SQL Db, React and Pandas. We use Azure as our deployment environment and Jira for our issue tracking.

Requirements

·         A C# .NET developer (Medior / Senior level)

·         High level of knowledge on .Net Core, API and SQL development

·        Knowledge of Storage Arrays, SQL servers, Web apps, CDNS and Dockers is pre

·         Minimum bachelor's degree or relevant years of work experience

·         Team player

·         Working with Scrum/Agile working is second nature to you

·         Someone who is committed towards working in a start – up for a longer period 

·         Hours per week: (near) fulltime (32-40/ week)

·         Minimum of 5 years of work experience

It will be awesome if you are an incredibly detailed and independent person who dares to make your voice heard. Besides that, you can communicate concise and address your designs and building concerns within the team, you are still eager to learn and willing to share your knowledge within the team. When something does not work you do not stop until it does and dare to ask questions when needed.
