As a Site Reliability Engineer at Printify you will get the opportunity to work on platform and improvements that have direct impact on Product Squads and our customers. Our team builds & operates the container platform (Docker / Kubernetes) on which Product Squads deploy complex and critical applications. The underlying cloud infrastructure is also managed by our team through the ‘infrastructure as code’ methodology.
The Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for the design, development, configuration and maintenance of the highly available and distributed solutions and platforms, as well as reliability of the ecosystem. You’ll be working in an international environment with multiple squads and teams of system and product engineers, and data scientists.
Your responsibilities:
Configure and operate our container platform and data storage solutions in AWSBuild and configure various services across SAAS, PAAS and IAAS environments like monitoring & logging solutions and CI/CDWork closely with Applications teams on various operational and improvement cases – develop, configure and continuously improve solutions based on the team’s needs. You will be responsible for the design and execution of your own initiativesTroubleshoot and resolve any service issues related to operating systems and servers. Maintain response and resolution of cases/tickets received in queue against established SLAs. Take part in on-call supportSupport other groups of system engineer, contribute in knowledge sharing, meetupsStay up to date with latest technologies and trends, propose improvements and be example of DevOps culture

What we expect from you:
Strong experience in CI/CD as a service/platform offering. Setup, maintenance and engineering workflow/pipeline creation. Experience with Jenkins is a plusExperience with release orchestration setup, approvals, quality gates, toolsSolid experience in systems administration and maintenance in UNIX/Linux environmentsKubernetes administrator experience, building and operating multi cluster setupBasic experience with the development, configuration, maintenance and enhancements of both relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL & NoSQL databases as MongoDBBasic experience with AWS file storage, block storage and distributed object storage solutionsBasic experience with setup and configuration of Elasticstack, Prometheus and Grafana, or similar. Skills to maintain application, infrastructure and system health awareness using monitoring toolsKnowledge of at least one scripting language as Bash, Python, Go etc.Troubleshooting skills of system, network, and application related is a mustLove all-things automation, have passion for open source technologies and tools, always learning and developing skills and knowledgeA team player with plenty of ideas and enthusiasm, proactive and can do attitudeHigh self-management and ability to prioritize in a dynamic start-up environment
