Automation QA Engineer (Web/Mobile)

Baanx is building one of the largest card and lending platforms in partnership for 20% of the world's cryptocurrency. We are launching new products in the United States and Europe to many millions of potential users.

Baanx is working on Crypto-as-a-Service Digital Banking and Digital Asset Lending services for our clients. We deliver full platforms for some of the world's biggest / leading firms in the Crypto space - cards / lending / remittance / wallets / exchange.

As an experienced Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the automation of testing scenarios of BAANX web and mobile applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing along with creation, execution and maintenance of automated scripts
• Analyze, design and build automated test cases based on system requirements and design specification
• Interact with testers, developers and product managers on collecting requirements, payloads, data for product testing
• Report and document technical issues, report bugs and errors to development teams
• Providing test measurements to track and communicate test progress and defect status
• Effectively collaborate with team members to achieve the best results
• Participation in grooming sessions, planning sessions and retrospectives

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer
• Automation testing experience for WEB applications and mobile applications 
• Having experience in setting up an automation framework from the scratch
• Experience with any for the following frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, Detox, Test Cafe, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Selenid​ or similar
• Excellent knowledge of Git or other version control tools
• Experience in server API testing (Postman)
• Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket)
• Upper intermediate or higher level of English

Desirable experience

• Experience as a software engineer
• Experience in working under the FinTech and crypto related projects
• Experience with ​​TestRail
• Experience in API testing automation
• Experience in relational database system (PostgreSQL or similar)
• Experience with Appium, LambdaTest or similar
