IT Security Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls needed to protect the company’s data;
• Test effectiveness of implemented security measures;
• Review architectural and configuration changes in our product to ensure security requirements are met;
• Assess new data security technologies, perform POCs, measure their success, and implement them into production.

Essential professional experience:

• 3+ years experience as Security Engineer;
• Understanding of the IT and/or software engineering processes and tools;
• Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies (security services);
• Windows/Linux administration;
• Practical experience with /SQL / NoSQL / other databases;
• Understanding of Data Warehouse architecture concepts and principles, database logical structure and design;
• Understanding of hardening, AAA (+ RBAC), data masking, data, and transport encryption, logging, etc;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Experience with data inventory, data classification solutions, DLP systems;
• Use of scripting languages for automating repeating tasks (python, bash, etc).
