Test Area Owner (5G L1 SW)

Description

We are looking for Test Lead/Test Area Owner in Nokia R&D St. Petersburg. Teams are involved to L1 SW development for 5G Base Station as part of international team.

Role & Responsibility

• End-to-end responsibility for the Testing activities in Functional Area
• Creation of test strategy and test plans for Software Component Testing (SCT) in respective Functional Area
• Support of Integration and E2E testing
• Coordination of the testing related work (testing and fault correction)
• Coordination of test case automation
• Coordination of trouble shooting of Continuous Regression Test / CI
• Participation in Escaped Defect Analyses and Root Cause Analyses work
• Establishing test cases review practice and participation in test cases review
• Following-up regression testing of domain owned regression test cases in CI loops
• Following-up testing progress in the Test Area and acts if required

Requirements

• Strong quality and continuous improvement mindset
• Strong soft skills (problem solving attitude, self-learning, self-organization, collaboration, teamwork, international team communication, etc.)
• High team and result orientation are required
• Excellent testing skills
• Over 5 years working experience at SW/SoC SW Development and Testing
• Fluent English
• Good understanding of Agile methodology and leadership is a plus
• Good understanding of UT/SCT/Integration/E2E Testing
• Good understanding of CDIT practices
• International, multi-site and multi-discipline (HW & SW) project experience is a plus
• Experience of work with bug-tracking tool (JIRA or similar) is a plus
• Experience of work with test status tracking tools (Quality Center or similar) is a plus
