DevOps Engineer (Tribe Voice&Messaging)

Our portfolio includes the TV as well as the voice and messaging platforms of DT Technik and central automation frameworks. As Tribe Voice & Messaging (T-VM) we have the end-to-end responsibility for all telecommunication systems, that provide the voice and messaging services for our company’s customers. As a technical leader we work with our international partners and vendors on a software-driven, full automated and cloud-based telecommunication infrastructure.

Onboarding and CI/CD is part of Automation & Orchestration Platform (AOP) and develops, delivers and operates core systems for the application management/operation of our T-VM telco systems. We are responsible for the continuous integration and deployment based on CI/CD pipes inside our private cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Become part of an agile DevOps Team, analyze and identify demands and define user story’s to next delivery step;
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for the integration of our telco core systems, the virtual or container-based network functions (VNF/CNF);
• Test and validate the developed pipelines and the deployment of the VNF/CNF objectives;
• Operate and monitor the implemented CI/CD pipelines;
• Support the telco DevOps teams with information about our MDA solutions, system-specific configuration and user account management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master of informatic or equal qualification;
• Know-How: Software Engineering, Big Data;
• Programming: Python, Linux Shell Scripting;
• CI/CD System Integration: Gitlab, Github, FluentD, JFrog, Pulp, Python (Pipes);
• Validation: Jenkins, Gherkin, Cucumber, Ruby, HR Quality Center.

Will be a plus:

• Kubernetes, Cloud Technology, VoIP/SIP/IMS;
• Tools/Frameworks/Formats: OpenStack, Ansible;
• Methods: DevOps, Scrum.
