The team you’ll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

Our ML team is aimed to investigate the advent of machine learning in the context of Layer 1 LTE/5G in Base Station. We do investigation of possible benefits and the way to productize the solution.

What you will learn and contribute to

• You will have the opportunity to become an expert in telecommunications and particularly in LTE and 5G technologies.
• Your area of work will be development and testing of software with implementation of Machine Learning algorithms for LTE/5G Base Stations.
• Your main responsibility will be constructing and development of full stack experiment from data generation to model verification. Understanding of possibilities for improvement and optimization. Storing the models and data in appropriate way.

• Technical leading in certain domain area within project.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for open-minded professional in Data Science/ML with good organization skills, strong commitment to quality and a flair for innovative thinking. You will have to demonstrate your flexibility and ability to work in uncertain problem statement and technical conditions.

You have:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge of Classic ML algorithms, Neural networks, math statistics, data processing.
• Strong python programming skills.
• Good experience with platforms, frameworks such as pytorch and Tensorflow.

• Good experience with ML libraries such as pandas, numpy, etc.

• Experience in constructing of full experiment chain from data generation to model verification and improvement/optimization.
• Good SW engineering skills for small or big (complex) solutions: problem solving, system planning, etc.
• Interest to work in international teams, good communication skills.
• Good technical English.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Storm, etc.).
• Real Time systems development.
• Models’ quantization experience.
• Knowledge of LTE/5G technologies.
• C/C++, Java/Scala/JavaScript programming skills.
• UNIX user skills.
• Fluent English.
• Git/version control systems/ CI/ CD/ MLOps - understanding and experience.
• Experience in tech leading/coaching.
