The Position

Market Data Management (MDM) is a unit within Information Technology (IT) Block, dedicated to manage Market Data within VTB Group. “Market data” (MD) represent a wide range of financial information: from quotes and prices (real-time and historical), to ratings, news, terminals for financial data monitoring and analysis as well as trading desks. The role is closely interact with business and support divisions.

Key management points:

• Control MD delivery processes;
• Control MD usage inside organization;
• Manage access for systems and users to MDM related services;
• MDM issues resolving;
• MD recertification and monitoring for changes;
• Investigation and mitigation of MD related risks;
• Optimization of processes and data/services;
• Services/licenses administration;
• Inventorying and reporting to business;
• Reporting/declaration to data providers/owners;
• Supervising payment workflow.

Principal Accountabilities

Market Data Compliance specialist is responsibilities:

• Communication with data providers/owners, collect their policies, synchronize usage with policies;
• Control MD services/licenses to be used in compliant way according to Terms and Conditions (T&C) presented in agreements;
• Manage MD usage within company, including onboarding / decommission and regular recertification;
• Permanent investigation of possible GAP’s and MD related issues solving;
• Participation in business projects with consulting role from MD compliance perspective;
• Cover reporting and declaration processes;
• Cover audits, work with internal and external auditors for MD related workflow;
• Knowledge documenting, keep knowledge base in actual state;
• Procedures preparation and implementation;
• Monitoring of MD World Global changes, timely prepare for changes inside organization.

Key Competencies & Qualifications

• 18+ month experience in investment companies or banks;
• Experience in vendor / costs / licenses management;
• Knowledge of Financial markets workflow, understanding basic principles of it work;
• Knowledge of main Refinitiv / Bloomberg products and services;
• Knowledge of other MD services and providers;
• Knowledge of Russian and European exchanges;
• Fluent English;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Advanced user of MS Windows, good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel (Pivots, VBA scripts, Data Queries);
• High level of personal responsibility, ability to create and manage your activities with high performance;
• Preferable programming skills.
