SRE engineer (RCV webinars)

DINS is a development center of an American telecommunication company RingCentral with headquarters in Silicon Valley, California. RingCentral is a distinguished leader among Unified communications as a service (UCaaS) providers and offers an innovative suite of collaboration products for enterprises, mid-size companies, and small businesses worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced SRE engineer to our RingCentral Webinars team to work on ongoing production support, the delivery process, CI/CD pipelines and deployment architecture for new product. You will be working as a part of a highly-skilled team of DevOps engineers in close collaboration with developers.

Main area of work: production support, improvement service and monitoring, participate in creation of infrastructure, CI/CD and deployment architecture for new application which highly utilizes docker/kubernetes and AWS services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing support for production environment, troubleshoot, manage and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, facilitate blameless post-mortems;
• Actively contribute to production stability improvements (monitoring, processes improvements);
• Implement CI/CD related pipelines and automations;
• Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions;
• Communicate and collaborate with other teams (QA, Development);
• Continuously improve and share knowledge of system, update documentation;
• Take part in a 8x7 on-call rotation (split with US and China team).

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge and strong experience in production support activities;
• Understanding of SRE principles and DevOPS practices;
• Experience working with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm;
• Expertise automating system administration tasks with configuration management tools;
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and ability to implement deployment activities automation;
• Familiar with application and service monitoring tools and techniques;
• Strong communication skills and systematic problem-solving approach;
• English - Intermediate.

• AWS experience;
• ArgoCD / istio;
• Experience with PostgresSQL;
• Experience in ELK usage, Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDb.
