Platform Engineer

Exness, a leading foreign exchange broker in the financial services field, is looking to hire Platform Engineer to join Exness Technology Department. You will join the team that works in a production field with high load, high availability and geo spreading systems. We intend to follow the best practices and standards by delivering to our customers finest products and services, which are based on cutting edge technologies. To join our team means to keep a pace of development with high quality and flexibility over orchestration, monitoring and logging, as well as common services and application at Exness.

What you will do:

• Improve and maintenance of orchestration: Kubernetes, Rancher, Rancher2.
• Provide support for Monitoring and Logging systems.
• Demand Definition of done, provide documentation.
• Follow and support none-blaming environment. Politnes, ability to listen and provide ideas without conflicts.
• Participate in duties related to Platform activities.
• Maintain Platform services and applications.
  

What you need to succeed:

• Experience with high load and high availability.
• System administration at least 3 years of experience.
• Ability to decompose any tasks into parts with a proper assignments.
• Awareness of cutting edge technologies, considering in design systems.
• Ability to clearly formulate a technical task for finalizing a specific system that has failed.
• Knowledge in troubleshoot methodologies, finding root causes.

Excellent experience in any of the following areas:

• Experience with geo spreading and decentralized technologies.
• Experience in a platform-based development. 
• Experience with Telemetry Systems .
• Experience in installing and configuring orchestration systems (Kubernetes).
• Experience in installing and configuring Apache Kafka.
