Backend Developer

Cryptouch is crypto / fintech startup. We build products to connect crypto and fiat ecosystems. We build two major products: gateway to provide crypto to fiat and fiat to crypto exchanges in B2B and B2C segments, and issuance of prepaid debit cards. Our business is highly regulated and compliant.

We’re looking for a middle backend developer to join us in building products on the edge of crypto- and fiat- spaces.

We have two major products sharing a common platform, as well as a number of supplementary services. And our aim is to scale up a team to match our fast-moving pace

Core responsibilities:

• Driving development of a product
• Plan, build and maintain service-oriented architecture
• Make technical decisions based on business requirements
• Write / analyse / test / review code
• Fluent written and spoken English

Quite important but not critical to have:

• 3+ years of development experience and a good record of delivered projects
• experience with SOA, services communication approaches, being able to explain pros and cons of using certain approaches in architecture
• good knowledge of relational databases (we use PostgreSQL)
• we use typescript as our main language with Nestjs framework, having experience with it would be excellent, but not required

Nice to know:

• Understanding of infrastructure and devops practices
• General overview of cloud services and ability to judge and contribute to infrastructural decisions
