Senior/Lead Mobile Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mobile Engineer with deep experience in iOS app development to join our dynamic and growing team. You will use your creativity and excellent problem-solving skills to build a state-of-the-art fintech app on public blockchains and not on the old school financical APIs. You will be working on Linen App — one of the first keyless crypto wallets.

🧙‍♂️ Duties

• Build and ship a reliable and secure mobile app entrusted by thousands of users to store their funds
• Lead and mentor other engineers on our team and take ownership of the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and founders to build a top-tier, consumer-focused mobile app
• Test, track and monitor features that you ship to our users and actively fix issues that may appear

🏋️ Requirements

• You have 5+ years of experience engineering mobile applications and working within a team environment.
• You are a passionate iOS software engineer with a solid CS background.
• You are looking to solve hard technical problems and do so efficiently, rigorously and reliably.
• You are an expert in building, testing, releasing, and maintaining iOS applications.
• Have a mastery of Swift language.
• Be able to design tech architecture and build mobile applications from top to bottom.
• Have knowledge of security best practices for safeguarding data on a mobile device.
• Have a passion for clean code that is easily maintainable and understandable.
• Have a good understanding of HTTP and REST, hands-on experience integrating with third-party APIs in a reliable and robust manner.
• Be able to hold responsibility and have an eye for details.
• Have excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Have the ability to investigate complex bugs and performance issues.

🌠 Nice to have

• An interest in blockchain technology and/or decentralized finance (DeFi).
• A general understanding of blockchain technology principles.
• You have worked on mobile products that users love with a focus on finance, security or user experience.
• You have experience working in an early-stage startup.
• You have experience holding any crypto asset.
• Experience with popular third-party libraries, frameworks and services like keychain, web3swift, Core Data, Realm, Alamofire, Firebase and Amplitude.
