Project for one of the global investment management firm. Firm has more than 2,400 employees with offices in the United States, Europe and Asia. Teams work collaboratively to drive the production of trading algorithm and financial strategies - the foundation of a sustainable, global trading platform.
The project goal is developing and continually evolving the firm's core infrastructure platform. The team works jointly with Portfolio Managers, Trading, and Operations on a strategic rebuild of the trading platform moving to low latency, microservices-based, highly scalable, distributed architecture empowered with top in class open source and commercial solutions and technologies.
Our team builds the next generation of trading applications and tools, including systematic and quantitative trading.
To enable and control trading teams, we seeking leading talent to evolve and scale offerings.
- Setting up appropriate CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab and dashboards/alert managers for the end users
- Support the managed infrastructure estate
- Participate in the design, implementation, testing and deployment of large-scale systems and services
- Develop, maintain and test salt codebase used for configuring and building hardware hosts
∙ Good DevOps experience and skills
∙ Java skills and development experience
∙ An appetite for process re-engineering and automation
∙ Experience with systems and IT support on setting up CI/CD pipelines
∙ Ability to find and use appropriate open source tools to achieve the set goals
∙ Experience with NFS to automate qtree expansion, spread across aggregates etc
∙ Java programming experience is a plus
∙ Python scripting is a plus
