Website Software Engineer

Miro is looking for an experienced software engineer to join our Website Engineering team. You will be responsible for our website core, related engineering tools, website platform stability, and future evolution of the web platform. If you like to share your technical expertise, love to develop tools to mitigate routine work, have a practical and realistic approach to work and a commitment to make sure our features are well implemented and bug-free and believe that you know how to make the website better, then we would like to hear from you!

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain our website core project based on PHP.
• Be responsible for general website infrastructure and performance.
• Be responsible for developer tools and approaches on the website.
• Develop website-wide libraries: analytics, performance monitoring, etc.
• Working closely with the Application Security team on web-related security issues.
• Develop and maintain CI/DI process for the Website Engineering team.
• Create and maintain documentation for the website project.

What you’ll need 

• 5+ years of industry experience (software development/engineering), familiar with Agile development.
• Successful website projects with the required stack with 6M+ unique visitors per month.
• Experience in PHP and Node-based website performance optimization and architecture development.
• Experience in developing and maintaining PHP libraries with 1k+ constant users.
• Deep knowledge of PHP, JS, Node.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS.
• Experience with React or Vue integration in PHP-based projects, CI/CD pipelines, unit, and e2e tests.
• Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English skills.
