Required skills:
- Advanced spoken English
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and automation. - Experience running production workloads in AWS
- Comprehensive knowledge of Docker and best practices
- Strong knowledge of Git
- Extensive knowledge of AWS services including
- CloudFormation
- EC2 (ASG, Launch Templates, Spot Instances)
- ECS/Fargate & ECR
- AWS network security (VPCs, Network ACLs/Security Groups & Best Practices)
- RDS (Aurora, MySQL and PostgreSQL)
- Application Load Balancers and ASG
- Route53
- CloudFront
- SQS
- ElasticCache
- ElasticSearch
- CloudWatch
- AWS Command Line Interface
- Strong understanding of IPv4 networking fundamentals
- Strong communication skills
Experience in the following will be viewed favourably:
- AWS Lambda
- AWS Certificate Manager
- AWS Systems Manager
- GitHub Actions
- Serverless framework
- Python
- Shell/Bash scripting
- Node/JS
- Auto Scaling
