Field Application Engineer and Process Consultant PCB System Design

As an applications engineer for PCB Design Solutions in the European team, you will be contributing to the success of the team. You will be responsible to drive and increase the deployment of Mentor Graphics' PCB System Design solutions. You will work very closely with sales and other technical resources.

Your tasks will be:

• Providing technical expertise for PCB System Design in pre-sales and post-sales situations;
• Engage with customers to understand their business goals, design methodology, processes and challenges
• Run Value Discovery Workshops to understand product development processes and position Mentors technology to increase efficiency in the design process to decision makers
• Drive technical evaluations and deliver methodology guidance
• Support complex technical benchmarks
• High level product demonstration, product training
• Technical account management
• Work closely together with the Siemens PL team on positioning a complete solution

The AE is expected to manage multiple customer issues concurrently and be very effective at interacting with customers in order to grow Mentor's business. This position will interface closely with the technical marketing organization in Mentor and Siemens PL and also provide technical feedback to Mentor product development teams pertaining to critical issues and recommended enhancements.

The AE is working as part of the Sales team to develop solutions to customer problems and plays an active role in account planning. The AE aligns with sales to exceed quota as they proactively manage customer accounts to success.

Job Qualifications:

• -Master of Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years PCB Design experience and familiarity with complete PCB System Design and Fabrication methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in High-Speed analysis, EMC analysis and SPICE simulation
• Strong track record with PCB Design development flows
• Excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Presentation Skills
• Build strong relationship and credibility with customers
• Communicate effectively in verbal and written form
• Ideal candidates will also have 2 or more years experience working in a sales environment
• Willing to travel
• Experience supporting EDA software is highly desirable
• Position is based in Russia, preferably in Moscow
• Native Russian and fluent English mandatory
