Job Description:

• You would like to finish your studies with a practical diploma thesis and thereby improve your profile? You are working on your diploma thesis or dissertation now or are planning to do this soon and want to integrate more practical content? Do you already have a topic that you want to discuss with us?

Skills Required:

You bring following qualifications with you:

• Higher education or last-year student (related area);
• Knowledge of web-based applications development principles;
• Strong knowledge of SQL, understanding of complex queries and stored procedures (knowledge of T-SQL will be a plus);
• HTML5/CSS3 skills;
• JavaScript and jQuery skills;
• Knowledge of ColdFusion/CFML and knowledge of development processes will be a plus;
• English language;
• German will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• You will be mostly involved in back-end development processes, where you will be responsible for some of these typical tasks:
  • Studying the business application architecture, development approaches and guideline's;
  • Development on CFML (Adobe ColdFusion);
  • Implementing JavaScript scenarios using open-source libraries like JQuery etc.;
  • Implementing new and modifying existing SQL stored procedures on T-SQL (business logic);
  • Developing a web based solution according to the specification;
  • Working with issues and bug tracking system (Atlassian JIRA);
  • Working with source control system (Rational ClearCase).

As an intern you will be fully integrated into our team and you can work self dependently. You will be able to deploy and develop your knowledge and abilities in challenging projects.
