One day I've heard the abbreviation "SLAM". I was interested about what does it mean and, when I figured out what it is, I wondered how it works. That day changed my life: for already several years my passionate dream is to participate in self-driving car development. My goal is to become a member of a team which will develop a self-driving car that will be able to be a part of our everyday life in future.
All of my current knowledge from the self-driving cars' field is the result of my self-education, based on the knowledge given by MAI. I've tackled Kalman filters, particle filters, PID controllers etc. After several free online courses I've enrolled the Udacity Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree, and I've finished the first term. During the first term I've implemented using Python, OpenCV, NumPy, Tensorflow and Keras such projects like: lane detection, traffic sign recognition, behavioral cloning and feature detection. I'm planning to continue with the following two parts.
In my spare time I like snowboarding, wakeboarding, windsurfing and climbing. I'm also in film photography, reading books (professional and fiction literature) and, again, programming. I like doing different things with my own hands: making electric guitar, fixing my own car, making the scaled prototype of self-driving car - are the examples of those things.
